EVENT: Wyman Center Inc. is breaking ground on a $1.5 million Town Square, which will become the focal point of the organization’s new 160-acre youth development center in Eureka/Wildwood. The Town Square will be built in three phases over the next year. The first facility within the Town Square will be the Wyman Enterprise Center made possible by a generous donation from the Anheuser-Busch Foundation. The Enterprise Center will be a 2,500-square foot center of youth-run art, agricultural and environmental enterprises providing lessons in business marketing, planning and project management. Also included will be a state-of-the-art media center.
BACKGROUND: Wyman is a nationally recognized, nonprofit youth development organization that is preparing youth from disadvantaged circumstances to lead successful lives and build strong communities. Wyman was founded in St. Louis in 1898 and serves 9,000 young people annually. The organization’s signature program is its Camp Coca-Cola St. Louis teen leadership program.

DIRECTIONS: Take I-44 West to the MO-109/MO-W exit #264. Turn right onto Hwy 109 and make an immediate left onto Fifth Street. Turn right onto Meramec Blvd. at the entrance to Hilltop Village subdivision. Follow Meramec Blvd. for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Forby Road and follow it for just over a mile to the entrance of Kiwanis Camp Wyman, headquarters of Wyman.
